Each series, we select a theme and then screen films that fit the theme. Think of it as an extended conversation, with each film adding a new voice.  And you can’t beat the price.

No deep, meaningful theme this time. Just ten quality films from Europe. We reach deep into the grab-bag from our past film series topics to showcase titles that, for one reason or another, we were unable to screen… until now!

 From the Director of Run, Lola Run comes this ethereal modern-day fairy tale. Bodo and Sissi come together under strange circumstances: Bodo saves Sissi's life after she is run over by a truck. Unable to pick up her life again, she seeks out Bodo and tries to befriend him.

Ciki is a Bosnian soldier, saves himself by diving into a trench in no man's land. Nino, a Serbian soldier, sneaks into the trench and finds Ciki. Though both men are armed and dangerous, they are unable to escape the trench without getting shot at by either side.
